About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with adults and adolescents. I received my Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University and my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Fordham University.
In my practice I draw heavily on my nine years of diverse clinical experience in New York City — from practicing in community and crisis-based mental health settings, to time spent in various hospital systems. These previous roles included providing family therapy and advocating for youth involved in the juvenile justice system, home visits for those experiencing psychiatric crises, and working at an outpatient clinic with adults & children diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
My approach is informed by my time spent advocating for those facing legal and medical issues, and I empower my clients to feel that they have the ability to handle any challenge they may encounter. I believe therapy should be a collaborative, exploratory, and compassionate space for clients to work toward their goals. I utilize a blend of different treatment modalities that are psychodynamic, relational, and trauma-informed, as well as integrate cognitive behavioral techniques and mindfulness practices when appropriate.
My hope is to provide you with an approachable, warm, and honest space to engage in self-reflection!
